Mrs. Abe visits Boston Latin Academy and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston

Prime Minister Abe and his wife paid a formal visit to Boston on April 26th and 27th. Mrs. Abe visited Boston Latin Academy and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston on the morning of April 26th. Mrs. Abe exchanged opinions with Ms. Emilia Pastor, the principal of  Boston Latin Academy, and joined the Japanese class for reading aloud and a proverb quiz. Mrs. Abe also had a friendly talk with some of the students. She told them that they should not only study the Japanese language, but also try to understand the Japanese soul. She told them they could serve as important bridge between the United States and Japan. At the Museum of Fine Arts, Mrs. Abe viewed the photographic exhibition about the Great East Japan Earthquake “In the Wake” and the special exhibition “Hokusai.” After that, she exchanged opinions with 6 Japanese women who have been successful in Boston.
